  • Walk for Hunger April 28th, 2018 9:00am

    Our annual Walk for Hunger will be taking place this coming Saturday April 28th starting at 9:00am at Watts Hall on Main St. in Thomaston. Get out for some exercise and fresh air in the community while raising money for Thomaston’s Interfaith food pantry and Meals on Wheels. Can’t walk yourself? Sponsor someone else!

  • Mardi Gras Monday!

    Come and celebrate Mardi Gras Monday with us! We will be having pancakes (Finnish and regular) sausage and more! There will be beads and trivia…everything that makes Mardi Gras fun! All are welcome!

  • Angel Tree

    Reminder that all gifts for the angel tree are due this coming Sunday December 17th. Gifts should be wrapped and have a tag attached to them. Thank you all for your generosity!

  • Advent Crafting

    Friends, due to weather issues we will be holding our Advent crafting this WEDNESDAY the 13th instead of Thursday at Athens Pizza 4pm. We will be working on Finnish stars. Please brings clothespins if you have them! Invite friends and family, all are welcome!

  • Halloween Parade

    We had a lot of fun attending the Halloween Parade at the Thomaston Grammar School yesterday, despite the wind. Thank you to everyone who came!

  • Church Raffle

    We are now selling raffle tickets for these wonderful items. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. The raffle will be drawn at the church fall fair on November 4th.

  • Fall Crafting Session

    You are warmly invited to join us at Athens Pizza Thursday Sept. 21st at 3pm to make some beautiful fall crafts to decorate our sanctuary. All are welcome to join us, we hope to see you there!

  • Blessing of the Backpacks!

    This Sunday, Sept. 24th we will be doing a special “blessing of the backpacks” during our worship service. Anyone who is starting a new school year is welcome to bring a backpack or lunchbox to be blessed.

    We understand not all students are able to be there in person so if you would like to bring a picture of your student on their first day of school, we would love to have you share it!

  • Hurricane Harvey Donations

    Over the past week, many donations have flooded into the church and will be sent out today to our brothers and sisters in Texas effected by Hurricane Harvey. Thank you to everyone who donated!

  • 2015 Annual Report Accepted

    The Federated Church held its annual meeting today and accepted the 2015 Annual Report.
