Candlelight Vigil for the Crew of the El Faro
October 7th, 2015 @ 5:30pm – Join us as we gather to light candles and pray for all those missing from the El Faro which disappeared during Hurricane Joaquin. Help us to support their friends and families, especially those right here in Knox County.
The church will be open from 5pm – 7pm.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – Sunday Afternoon Service (No Morning Services)

The Federated Church would like to welcomes the community to the installation service for Rev. Vanessa Colesworthy.
This is not just a celebration of a new minister, but a celebration of this wonderful community! Following the service, all are welcome to join us for a reception of food, drink, and friends.
Clergy are invited to process. Please arrive no later than 2:30pm to robe.

Helen Studley College Scholarship
Once again the Federated Church is offering the Helen Studley college scholarship of $2,000.00 which is open to all students from Thomaston, St. George, and Cushing. Please see the school’s guidance counselor to apply!!

Join us for Holy Week!
Our Maundy Thursday service will be on Thursday April 17th at 5:00 pm downstairs in Leach Hall. Bread and soup will be served. Please join us for contemplation and remembrance of Jesus’ life.
Join us for the celebration of Easter! There will be a sunrise service at 6:00am at the Weymouth Cross (by the public boat landing) in Thomaston. Rev. Peter Jenks, Rev. Wayne Sawyer, and Rev. Vanessa Colesworthy will be officiating together.
We also will be having our regular worship at 9:30am at the church for a joyful celebration as we remember the resurrection of Jesus. There will be an Easter egg hunt following the service.
